Trail Hosts

The Potomac Heritage Trail would not exist without the generosity of private landowners. Thanks to these preservation-minded citizens, organizations and businesses, many miles of the Potomac Heritage Trail are open for hiking on private land. Having stepped up, these folks have provided a valuable resource for the benefit of everyone in the community. A sense of civic duty and pride in hosting a valued community resource is often a common thread that runs through these people. The PHTA as well as all Local, State and Federal agencies with PHNST responsibilities, wish to express their sincere thanks and appreciation for these privet land owners who are setting an example and leading the way.
