Notes:
A. Straddles border between Frederick and Washington counties. Coincides with C&O Towpath for 3 miles east of Harpers Ferry, WV.
B. Big Pool to Hancock. Runs parallel to the C&O Canal Towpath.
C. Planned extension downriver to Williamsport.
D. The Tuscarora Trail crosses the Potomac River from Virginia to Hancock, MD. It then follows the C&O Canal Towpath east to Licking Creek, where it turns north and extents into Pennsylvania.
